15 years after that, Milton Trimly, wannabe Space Adventurer, moves in with his boring gran in the hopes of finding himself closer to where things happen.

Unfortunately, nothing happens. And nothing continues to happen. Until, that is, the moment Heidi Frey crashes into his life. She's brilliant and terrifying in equal measure, on the run from her own people, and everything about her spells out ADVENTURE.

Together, Milton and Heidi must traverse the cosmos, confront their worst fears and each other if they stand any chance of putting a stop to the definitely-not-evil Lord Darkness.
